Graduate Certificate in Homeland Defense

UCCS has developed a set of graduate courses leading to a Certificate in Homeland Defense.  Students completing the four courses will receive a Graduate Certificate from the UCCS School of Public Affairs.  In addition, the courses can all be used in a Master of Public Administration degree, Master of Business Administration degree, or as electives in other graduate degree programs.

 

Master's Degree

CHS is collaborating with the School of Public Affairs to develop a Master of Public Administration degree in Homeland Security to be offered beginning in the 2007/2008 academic year.  You can obtain more information about this program by contacting us at 719-262-3334.

 

Doctoral Studies

The University of Colorado is also completing plans to offer the nation’s first PhD in Homeland Security.  This exciting and challenging program will be offered in partnership with the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. The academic instruction will be offered in a hybrid format with coursework delivered both onsite and online.
